Entries for December 2009

Kate and Sam

Whilst on the subject of Coorabella, a few years ago I was there with Kate and Sam on their wedding day. At sunset a comet appeared in the western sky and a finger moon not quite over head; a cosmic event that was magic.

Syvanna and Richard

Syvanna and Richards’ second wedding anniversary is coming around, so I 've put these up to remember a really beautiful country wedding. Coorabella is an archetypal north coast property, a mix of tasteful eccentricity set amongst rolling green countryside behind Byron Bay.

Soon after their marriage, they both took extended leave from their jobs and went on an open ended trip around the world.

Natasha and Warren

For some reason winter weddings aren’t as popular as summer one’s. It might have something to do with the fact most dresses are more comfortable in hot weather and blokes in suits just have to put up with it. The other thing is the weather is more settled in winter. Having said that Natasha and Warren snuck their mid-May beach ceremony in two days before an east coast low washed Marcoola beach away.
